We watch your dog in our house. The core of our approach is to give the dogs clear boundaries while building a fun and loving relationship. Since they are living with us, all new dogs go through our "orientation": they learn our house rules and how we expect them to behave in everyday situations. When we are preparing food, no paws in the kitchen. If we're out on a walk, no pulling on the leash. But when the dogs respect the boundaries, they are showered with treats and affection!

Socialization is very important to us. We frequently visit busy areas where the pups can experience the outside world. On a nice day you'll find us with the pack at coffee shops, parks or the busy sidewalks of Nyack. We will work carefully to desensitize dogs who are reactive or anxious in busy environments.

Before a first time booking, we will schedule a Meet and Greet to assess your dog's temperament. Our dog Ember will make the final call on whether it will be a good fit. Once we see that the dogs get along, we will confirm the booking. Your dog MUST pass the Meet and Greet before we confirm your first booking with us.​
